Do you love Secret Life of the American Teenager unconditionally? So do we! But sometimes we scratch out heads and go: “What the whaaaa?”
If you ended this episode filled with Secret Life joy, but also some mild confusion about certain teens and their sexy antics, you’re in luck! We’ve rounded up the biggest WTF moments from season 4.9, “Flip Flop!”
1. Are Ricky and Amy ever NOT doing laundry?
Things that Ricky and Amy do together: 1) Have sex. 2) Fight. 3) Fold laundry. We know little kids go through a lot of clothes, but maybe it’s time for these two to do something else as a couple. Go to a movie perhaps? Maybe dinner at a nice restaurant? Basically, anything normal teenagers would do.
2. Anne’s ultimate fantasy is to live in an old person’s home?
You guys, Anne is stressed. She’s working long hours, doesn’t spend enough time with her baby and now her ex-hubby is living out her ultimate fantasy: Playing bingo and finger painting with old people. Life just isn’t fair!
3. ''Meat scraps'' = Even better than sausage?
all us crazy, but we’re pretty sure Nora and George just ate a bunch of dog food. We know these guys love meat, but perhaps they should stick to sausage rather than binge eat the “meat scraps” that George was saving for the family pet.
Just as a reminder, here’s a rundown of the food the Secret Lifers have chowed down on this season: Churros, sausage, meat sauce, pickles, donuts and now, meat scraps. Wow.
4. Did Ricky threaten Amy?
We’re seriously worried about Ramy. When Amy stood in her man’s way to prevent him from leaving he said, “Do not physically get in my way when I’m angry. That is not a good thing to do.” Uhm ... uncool.
We don’t think Ricky would ever hurt Amy, but he should probably keep the threats of violence under-wraps unless he wants to become our public enemy no. 1.
5. Ashley’s nickname is Sugarplum?
6. Middle-aged people should never dance.
Earlier this season, George traumatized us when he busted out his fast dance moves, and now our eyes are once again burning at the sight of Margaret and her hubby dancing in their kitchen.
Heads up, teens: When your parents say they want “alone time” they actually just want to get drunk and bump n’ grind. The horror!
