Molly Ringwald Can't Wait For Her Secret Life Lesbian Storyline

Secret Life of the American Teenager is no stranger to controversial storylines, from teen pregnancy (of course) to drug and alcohol use and even a nude pics scandal. But Molly Ringwald says her character's upcoming lesbian affair may just top them all — and she can't wait!

Molly fully expects to deal with outrage from media outlets like Fox News. 

"They’ve dealt with gay characters, and they’ve dealt with gay characters kissing — they just haven’t dealt with ‘Molly Ringwald being a lesbian,’" she tells Out.com. 

"Seeing someone that they’ve grown up with, that they’ve identified with for so long —  it’s a great way to break down that us-versus-them barrier a little more."
