Farrah’s spent the last few episodes of Teen Mom arguing with her parents about whether or not to bring Baby Sophia to The Sunshine State, but she’s finally made her decision!
Farrah’s leaving Sophia in Iowa while she attends school in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. –– which means Grandma Debra is now Sophia’s primary caregiver.
"I want her [Debra] to be there for Sophia when I need to take care of my responsibilities, my education and earning an income for both of us," Farrah tells Life & Style.
Wow, bold move!
We’re glad Farrah is getting her education on, but doesn’t she miss Sophia? “Sophia is the no. 1 thing in my life,” Farrah says, “I’m just trying to be the best parent that I can. I take care of my responsibilities. I’m happy that I took the chance to move. I would never regret it.”
Luckily, Farrah has the means to visit Sophia frequently, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t miss her baby. “It would be hard for any mother,” Farrah admits. “When I do leave Sophia I call and I call. I text, I check in, and I e-mail. I don’t want her to ever think Mommy’s not ever coming back.”
We can’t help but shed a little tear for Sophia, but hopefully Farrah will graduate on time and come back to her baby asap!
