Secret Life of the American Teenager Will End After Fifth Season
It’s sad but true: The Secret Life of the American Teenager will come to an end after its fifth season finishes airing next year.
Deadline reports that ABC Family decided to cancel the hit drama because the show had “run its course,” according to an insider. Having premiered in 2008, Secret Life was a breakout hit for the network and helped launch a series of successful shows like Pretty Little Liars.
The second half of Season 5 will begin airing in March 2013.
