Shailene Woodley Cozies Up to Miles Teller in First Look Photo From The Spectacular Now (PHOTO)

Shailene Woodley is about to film three big movies, but that’s not all that’s on the horizon for the Secret Life of the American Teenager star.

The Spectacular Now, Shai’s latest film, will make its debut at the 29th annual Sundance Film Festival, premiering the week of Jan. 17, 2013!

The film centers around a high school senior named Sutter (played by Miles Teller) who decides to woo a social outcast, Aimee (Shailene), as an experiment, but according to the official synopsis, as their relationship deepens, “The lines between right and wrong, friendship and love, and ‘saving’ and corrupting become inextricably blurred.”

This role is quite a departure from Secret Life’s Amy Juergens, and we can’t wait to see her dramatic acting at its finest. The first look photo above seems innocent and sweet, but we’re not sure the film will end that way!
