When we found out The Secret Life of the American Teenager was canceled, we took to our diaries to write down our feelings and emotions. Thankfully, the show’s stars weren’t as private, sharing their reactions about the final episodes and the cancellation on Twitter.

Greg Finley (Jack Pappas) was one of the first to share his thoughts, tweeting, “It was a hell of a run, but my nana always says nothing good lasts forever and nothing bad lasts forever. I do know we had the best fans though! For real, thanks for all the love about the show. Means a lot you guys are bummed about it being over. We are too! Thanks for a great 5 years.”

Francia Raisa (Adrian Lee) also tweeted out a thank you to her fans, saying, “Yes guys, unfortunately it's true. This is our last season of Secret Life. It's been fun and such an amazing journey and I'm beyond grateful for all the love and support you guys have given us. I love you all so much.”

Our favorite bad boy, Ricky Underwood (aka Daren Kagasoff) shared some sweet words, too. He tweeted, “It’s true. Season 5 of Secret Life will be our last. What an amazing journey it has been and I will be forever grateful. Thank you to all the fans for all of your support. Thank you, thank you.”

Allen Evangelista (Henry) was equally as thankful, tweeting, “Been so blessed these past 5 seasons. I have so much to be thankful for because of it. What an amazing run. It's not over yet!”

And today, Oct. 11, Allen also tweeted a pic of one of the final scripts:

Aww! We’re holding back the tears here, Secret Lifers! To top it all off, Megan Park (Grace Bowman) posted a heartfelt, four-part tweet.

“It's true friends. Secret Life will end after 5 seasons. It's a weird/sad day for all of us, but I'm INCREDIBLY blessed to have been apart of something so fun for 5 years,” she tweeted. “I'm also very grateful for each and everyone of YOU and for your constant support and love. I’m very very lucky. P.S. The entire 5th season is still going to air! So you will have new episodes to watch well into next year. Xxoo.”
