Ken Baumann Bio

Talk about a triple threat! This boy-next-door acts, writes, and designs. Kenny got his showbiz start at the tender age of 11 when he attracted the attention of a Texas talent agency. He promptly shipped off to New York to become a model and star in few commercials. A few years later, Ken realized that he preferred acting to posing, so he changed things up and headed to Los Angeles to follow his dreams. Considering that his family owns a miniature horse ranch and wildlife preserve, it must have been pretty hard transition. (If you're imagining Kenny riding around on a tiny donkey, you're not alone.)  He landed his first role at 14 on a Fox pilot written by celebrated playwright Nicky Silver. Kenny then appeared in Eli Stone and Sixty Minute Man before nabbing the role of sweet and (sometimes) faithful Ben on Secret Life. Ken has since starred in several feature films, including 2008's Whore (alongside mega-babe Megan Fox) and more recently, Spring Break '83. Guess Hollywood's as star struck as we are!

When he's not on set, you can probably find Kenny at the bookstore. His love of literature sets a good example for all us TV-aholics.The owner and operator of the publishing company Sator Press, he has published two online literary journals and written two novels!
