A Cause for Celebration: Ian Somerhalder Wins the Carmel Art and Film Festival’s “World of Good Award”
We regularly celebrate Ian Somerhalder (Damon) for his sexiness, but The Vampire Diaries’ star is much more than a pretty face. Ian is also huge into philanthropy and saving the environment, and he will be receiving an award in the coming weeks to prove it!
On Saturday, October 15, The Carmel Art & Film Festival will present Mr. Smolderhotter with their first-ever “World of Good Award” at the Founder’s Cocktail Party. The festival is a five-day event in Carmel, California that showcases “groundbreaking art, exclusive premieres, and one-of-a-kind encounters with today’s leading artists, filmmakers, and industry professionals,” according to its website.
While the avant-garde crowd sips cocktails, the CFAA will honor Ian’s work as a “tireless advocate for animal and environmental issues” by presenting him with the award, designed by Tiffany & Co.
