Good News! You Can Watch Daniel Gillies’ ‘Saving Hope’ on NBC This Summer
Learning that Daniel Gillies (Elijah) was cast on Canadian television show Saving Hope was bittersweet. On the one hand, the talented actor deserves to work as much as possible; on the other hand, The Vampire Diaries just isn’t the same without Elijah. Luckily, Gillies has said nothing could keep him away from TVD for long. Even better? American audiences will get to watch Gillies get his doctor on in Saving Hope starting this summer on NBC.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first 13 episodes will air during the network’s summer season. Production for the show starts March 12. The series centers around a chief of surgery (Michael Shanks), who becomes suddenly ill — throwing the hospital and his wife (Erica Durance) into turmoil.
Since this is House’s final season, we need a new medical drama in our lives. Bring on the scrubs, Gillies!
