The 2012 Teen Choice Award nominations have officially been announced, and we couldn’t be happier to see the number of times The Vampire Diaries appeared on the list!

But while Joseph Morgan will be battling a bunch of chicks for Choice TV Villain, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley have some competition that’s a wee bit closer to home — each other!

Both droolworthy stars have snatched up a nom for Choice TV Actor in a Fantasy/Sci-Fi, and we honestly don’t know how we could possibly choose! Do we give our vote to the brooding Stefan, out to save Elena and his own humanity? Or does it go to bad boy Damon who, after everything, still has a beating heart of gold?
