The Vampire Diaries’ fandom is vast and loyal, so Warner Bros. knew what it was doing when they teamed up with Creation Entertainment to hold the show’s official conventions. According to The Hollywood Reporter, an annual convention will be held for the next three years.

The first of this year’s cons will be held in Chicago on April 14 and 15. San Francisco’s will take place on July 28 and 29, and Parsippany, New Jersey will get one on August 18 and 19. Both Ian Somerhalder(Damon Salvatore) and Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore) are expected to make appearances, so get your pens and whatever body parts you want signed ready.

Now all you have to do is figure out who you’re dressing up as… (1800s Lexi, anyone?)
