The ink has barely dried, but we finally have word that English actor (and total man candy) Joseph Morgan has officially signed on to play the big, bad Original Vampire Klaus. (Okay, so Ausiello kinda leaked this news early, but it’s always good to know for sure!)

According to Deadline, Morgan was cast after more than 100 hunky, bad ass dudes read for the part. Talk about an accomplishment!
