Nina Dobrev Helps Raise $11 Million at amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

It wasn’t all about the glam when Nina Dobrev attended the 2012 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala on Thursday, May 24. Sure, she looked stunning in her sequined gown by Elie Saab, but Nina was also helping to make the event the most successful in its history.

The gala’s auction featured kisses from stars such as George Clooney and Robert Pattinson, but a brush with Dobrev’s famous fangs were also up for bid, according to The New York Post. Yep, she offered to bite whoever shelled out the most money.

The money raised — $11 million, according to amfAR’s website — will go to finding a cure for AIDS.
