Nina Dobrev dons a sexy black cocktail dress by Christian Siriano for the designer’s Fall 2012 fashion show in NYC.
Because Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert) stars on The CW’s Vampire Diaries and not, say, HBO’s True Blood, her love scenes are TV-MA at worst. The network likes to keep things rather tame, but her recent Entertainment Weekly cover revealed a lot of her and her half-naked co-stars, Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) and Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore). She’s clearly not shy, but in a recent interview with E!, Nina admits this wasn’t always the case.
"You know, I actually turned down something, because of the nudity, for Boardwalk Empire,” the stunning star says. “But I was really young at the time. I'd just finished Degrassi, and I wasn't ready for it. But I don't think there's anything wrong with it, and I think if you're immersed in a role and if it's appropriate for the role, I say go for it.” Nina’s been saying recently that she wants to branch out from her good girl roles to play a “punk” or “drug addict.”
