When Elena asked Damon for “the truth,” he said he didn’t know her brother Jeremy was wearing the ring before he broke his neck. “I got lucky,” he admitted. “I don’t know what I would have done if he wasn’t wearing it.” Dang! We hate to think Damon’s truly that vicious. But what do you think? Was he telling the truth or did he really know?
