One thing we’ll never say about The Vampire Diaries: “You took the words right out of our mouths.” Elena and the gang utter things we’d never dream of saying — or at least hope we never have to. Without further ado, here are the 20 notable quotables from Season 3, Episode 6, “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

20. Like he gives a [bleep!]
Stefan (to Rebekah): “I’m sorry. Your tone implies that I’m actually supposed to care.”

19. That’s a spooky sister
Matt: “You can’t just keeping appearing like this. You’re freaking me out.”
Vicki: “I’m a ghost. It’s all I’ve got.”

18. Hear, hear!
Tyler (to Matt): “We’re seniors, man. Life is good.”

17. You say crazy, he says crazy strong
Elena: “You think that I’m crazy to believe that I can protect myself from a vampire who’s flipped the switch on his humanity.”
Alaric: “I think you found a way to get out of bed this morning and that makes you the strongest person that I know. I think that you can do pretty much anything.”

Katherine (to Mikael): “A little blood will grease those muscles up real quick. I’m just saying.”
