Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder Explains Why Voting Is Crucial

Last night, President Obama and Governor Mitt Romney debated at a town hall-style meeting. Streaming his commentary, Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) weighed in with his thoughts. After the debate, he uploaded a video telling his fans why they need to vote.
“Every vote counts; elections count,” said Ian. “Let’s make this election count.”
As the debate was airing, Ian also answered a few questions on Twitter. When asked what question he had for the candidates, Ian replied, “How will [you] create sustainable green jobs?”
