Get ready to have a ball, Vampire Diaries fans — literally! Candice Accola (Caroline) spilled some secrets to E!Online about the forthcoming February 9 episode and it sounds like Mystic Falls will be partying it up (again), this time with an uber-formal ball.

"I'm really excited there's an episode where there's a ball. Everyone got to get all dressed up," Caroline gushes. "We took ball dancing lessons. It was really fun.” But Candice says there’s more in store than just some badass dance moves (and, most likely, a couple snapped necks).

“I'm excited for people to see that episode for many more reasons... but I don't want to give those reasons away. I'm just going to say because we got all dressed up, which is code for a lot of s--t goes down." This is a Mystic Falls party, after all.

But could one of the reasons to be excited have anything to do with that buzzed-about Foriginal (Klaus/Caroline) fling? We think yes: One hot teaser photo shows Caroline sharing a dance with the baddie while sporting the bracelet he gifted her for her 18th birthday — which could mean she’s into him (or just really, really likes free jewelry). Not only that, but the episode description hints at what could be a sweet moment for Forginal: "Caroline discovers a side of Klaus no one would have suspected.”

Also worth looking forward to? Another sneak peek photo shows ex-lovers Stefan and Elena holding each other dangerously close during one steamy dance they share, although she also shares a dance with a dashing Damon.

Yep. We’d say “having a ball” may even be an understatement!
