Vampire Diaries Spoilers For Season 4, Episode 8: “We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street” — Things Between Damon and Elena Are “Complicated”

OK, it’s not much of a spoiler that despite their sexy sex, things between Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) aren’t all silky sheets, rose petals, and bloodsharing. E! Online reports that in Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 8, “We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street,” they’ll have to update their relationship status to “It’s complicated.” 

According to E! Online, Damon and Elena are together, at least until they find out about the sire bond. Naturally, that makes the vampires wonder just exactly what’s going on between them. In the promo, Stefan (Paul Wesley) tells his brother, “She was sired to you. And you took full advantage of that.”

We aren’t entirely sure Damon knew what was going on with Elena, but it’s certainly a sticky web of emotions they’ll have to start to weave through next week.
