Okay, we can’t actually promise you’ll be able to press your pucker against Mr. Smolderhotter’s soft lips, but thanks to On Location Vacations’ mini-guide on how to be an extra on The Vampire Diaries, we can tell you how to potentially score a spot as an extra on the show and maybe stand in the same building as the fanged hottie. That’s gotta be worth something, right?
Finding your way to Mystic Falls is a lot easier than you might think, although there are a few stipulations. First things first, if you don’t already live in the Atlanta, Georgia metro area, you should probably look at relocating since most extras currently reside within the city’s vicinity. (If you’re that hardcore about it, we mean. No one’s telling you to pack and move on a whim.)
Also, TVD’s extra casting happens through the Atlanta-based Cherrix Casting, and their website clearly states all extras must register with them for a chance to appear on the show. While they don’t currently have any openings, cross your fingers that they’ll send out the call soon!
