Who Wore It Best? Nina Dobrev vs. Jordin Sparks in Red Peplum Frocks

Nina Dobrev took Canada by storm back in September when she premiered The Perks of Being a Wallflower during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. The movie didn’t disappoint and neither did Nina, as she stepped out in multiple head-turning looks!
 
At a private event held at the Soho House, the Vampire Diaries stunner looked red-hot donning an Elie Saab peplum dress with a cleavage-baring cut. Nina’s side-swept curls and cherry red lips lent a sophisticated finish, while lilac platform heels were a fresh and unexpected touch.

Not one month earlier, American Idol Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks premiered her own movie Sparkle while wearing a similar peplum dress from Alice + Olivia. With wild curly locks and Zanotti patent pumps, Jordin’s look was flirty and fun, but the higher neckline gave it a polished and grown-up vibe.
