In order to save Tyler (Michael Trevino), Caroline (Candice Accola) begged Klaus (Joseph Morgan) to let him live. The Original agreed to give his former minion a head start — but he admitted it was only because of her and his feelings for her.
Once again, Tyler and Caroline had to say goodbye. Or, “Until we find a way,” according to Tyler. Then she makes him promise that he’ll live a full and happy life without her. “Until we find a way,” she says through her tears. Tyler kisses her, then leaves.
