The Voice 2013: Who Has the Strongest Team in Season 4?
Now that the blind auditions are over on The Voice Season 4, which coach has the best team? All four celebs — Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira, and Usher — have rounded up impressive groups of 12, but there can only be one winner.
Here’s our take on where the coaches stand going into the battle rounds:
4. Team Shakira
Though we’ve fallen in love with Shakira this season, she does have a knack for picking the more eclectic contestants. That can sometimes work to her advantage, but few of Shakira’s contestants really stand out as top singers. In a pack of Spanish singers, Monique Abbadie stands out as having the most potential to be a crossover artist, and Kris Thomas’s insanely impressive falsetto makes him a standout as well.
3. Team Usher
The big Ush is also new to this game, but seemed to be slightly more successful than Shakira. This is due in part to his glowing smile and no-nonsense approach to persuasion. On Team Usher, R&B singers Vedo and Ryan Innes stand out in addition to pop singers Jessica Childress and Audrey Karrasch.
Naturally, most of Blake’s team is made up of country artists, but most of them are at the top of their craft. Danielle Bradberry, Holly Tucker, and Savannah Berry are some young standouts this season for their pure sounds and creative arrangements. Plus, Team Blake has identical twins who have gorgeous harmonies (The Morgan Twins), there goes the guy vote!
1. Team Adam Levine
The coach who Christina Aguilera once described as a glorified “car salesman” has managed to score the show’s most impressive team in Season 4. Winning the majority of the four-chair turns, Adam has 12 impressive singers destined to make it far. Standouts include soul singer Judith Hill, powerhouse Sasha Allen, pure vocalist Sarah Simmons, and folk duo Midas Whale. Our money is on someone from this rocker’s team to take home the title.
