The Voice Season 2 Spoilers: Battle Round Pairings Revealed for March 12, 2012!
The first set of battle rounds left us reeling last night. So when NBC played a fast-paced preview of next week’s episode, we were assaulted with flashing images of our favorite contestants, but didn’t get a good look at everyone.
Last night’s episode featured six pairings: one each for Team Adam and Team Cee Lo, and two each for Team Blake and Team Christina. If they keep this up, there will be four total battle round episodes before the live shows.
After much pause-button pressing and rewinding, we have a list of every contestant shown in the preview.
If this preview is indeed indicative of next week’s episode, Team Christina and Team Cee Lo will each get two performances. We thought Team Adam would get the second performance since this week we only saw Tony Lucca and Chris Cauley battle, but the clips don’t lie.
If you look closely, you can see Team Christina contestants Sera Hill and Geoff McBride battling, and Lindsey Pavao and Lee Koch standing together on stage with Carson Daly waiting to hear the results.
The only other definite pairing we saw were Team Adam contestants Whitney Myer and Kim Yarbrough. So that leaves two pictured contestants on Team Blake and three on Team Cee Lo. If Team Blake only has one performance next week, then it will be Charlotte Sometimes up against Lex Land.
POTENTIAL SPOILER: Last night, winning contestant RaeLynn tweeted Charlotte Sometimes in response to Charlotte’s congratulatory tweet. RaeLynn said: “@4EverSometimes Thanks love!! miss you!!”
Since the judges are all wearing the same outfits, we can assume that at least these two episodes of battle rounds were filmed on the same night. So, RaeLynn would know Charlotte’s fate. Does she miss her because she’s left the competition? Or have they just not been spending as much time together lately? Only time will tell.
Team Cee Lo’s pairings are a bit tougher to predict. Only three contestants were shown in the preview, and as we all know, two are needed for each duet. Featured in the preview were cuties Jamar Rodgers and Jamie Lono, as well as rocker Juliet Simms. We think a pairing of Juliet and Jamar would be fierce, but maybe a little too good as it would make the decision way too tough for Cee Lo.
What do you think of our predictions? Who would you like to see paired up next week? And who would you like to see go home? Comment below!
