The Voice Top 6 to Perform Two Songs Each in Tonight’s Live Shows, Dec. 3, 2012

As the competition gets fiercer on The Voice, the contestant pool gets smaller. And while we’re trying to figure out which four semi-finalists will make it to the Season 3 finale, NBC is trying to fill two hours with only six contestants.

Fortunately we won’t be “treated” to more trips to the Sprint Skybox to visit with Christina Milian in tonight’s live show. Instead, the time will be filled by each of the remaining six contestants giving two performances!

One song will be selected by the semifinalist and the other by their coach. Team Blake’s Cassadee Pope recently sat down with Christina Milian to talk about her selections for tonight’s episode.

“One is a song that I have loved since the second I heard it, and it’s by an artist that’s a huge inspiration to me so it’s kinda like an honor to do it on the show,” Cassadee revealed. “And the one he picked is, you know, it’s in his wheelhouse. It’s a country song, but it’s the kind of song you can take and make a pop rock song very easily.”

Are you looking forward to hearing the artists sing two songs tonight? Or would you prefer fewer performances? Weigh in below!
