It took someone who’s been through this before to fully express how we felt during last night’s upsetting eliminations on The Voice 2013. Season 3’s Amanda Brown tried her best to articulate what most of America felt during last night’s live results show in her blog for Parade Magazine.

In the episode, artists Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons were sent packing before the Top 6, leaving their coach Adam Levine quite upset.

“In all honesty, I don’t know what to say. So this is what it feels like to become attached to an artist on the show, and then, they’re gone? This certainly is not a feeling I enjoy,” Amanda wrote. “Well, I know that Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons have bright futures, I just wish I could have heard more from them right now.”

This loss hits especially close to home for the rockin’ singer since Amanda was also a Team Adam Levine artist who left far too early. Amanda and her teammate Melanie Martinez were sent home on the same night, both failing to make it to the Top 4.

Though she’s clearly upset by these losses, Amanda is relieved to see some of her favorites still in the competition. Read the rest of her post at Parade.com to see who she’s excited for in Season 4!
