It’s been one week since Danielle Bradbery was crowned The Voice’s youngest winner ever, but the time away from the hit show hasn’t kept the country cutie from thinking about her future. This week she’s set to hit the recording studio at Big Machine Records where she will start laying down her new music.

But after going from singing in her bedroom to national television, Danielle’s fast track to stardom is the concern of many fans. Supporters are worried that Danielle might take a similar path as former child stars Lindsay Lohan or Amanda Bynes.

Fortunately, Danielle has the right people helping her out, mainly coach Blake Shelton.

“I definitely do not want to go off on the wrong path,” Danielle admitted to TVLine. “Blake, my step parents, and my parents, we all got to sit down off camera, just normal, and we actually got to talk about all that stuff. [Blake] definitely talked to us about the right people to go to, the right team to get together so I’m in the right place. That really made a big impact. He asked me, ‘Well, do you want me to be a part of your stuff?’ And I’m like, ‘Most definitely!’ Him and Miranda told me, ‘If you ever need anything, we’re just a phone call away.’ That makes me feel good.”

And though she loves having Blake on her team, Danielle admits that singing a romantic duet with her coach in the live final (“Timber, I’m Falling in Love”) was a little out of her comfort zone.

“Well, I mean, we’re looking at each other and it’s a love song,” she said laughing. “I tried to get in the back of my mind, ‘Well, I’ll just make it like, OK, hey Dad.’ Like a father perspective. Yeah, it was kind of awkward at moments, but I tried to make it not as awkward as possible.”

Awkward or not, it seems that Danielle’s time on The Voice proved to be more than successful. Blake often calls her the “most important” artist ever to cross the show’s stage.
