Never one to miss a party, The Voice’s social media correspondent, Christina Milian, was spotted at Kyle Richards' fashion fundraiser to benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles on June 26.

This fashion-forward tweeter was seen mingling with attendees including Kyle and Kim Richards’s manager Bette Smith. The event was filled with Housewives including Brandi Glanville, Lisa Vanderpump, and Kim Richards, and Kyle’s hubby Mauricio planted a big kiss on her lips on the red carpet.

Wetpaint Entertainment attended the event and chatted with Christina about being a single mother to 4-year-old daughter Violet, and the upcoming season of The Voice.

Wetpaint Entertainment: You’re such a hip mommy.

Christina Milian: Thank you. I try to be.

Does your daughter think so?

I think she does, actually. She looks forward to our time together, and if we’re not together, she makes it hard for me to leave. I try to make it so that we have a really cool relationship and I have conversations with her, the whole deal, even at three years old, and she had just been a cool kid since the moment she could open her mouth. She’s got natural rhythm, music, talking, personality — lots of character.

If she followed in your footsteps, how would that feel?

I wouldn’t be opposed to it because I knew as a child that it was a dream that I had, and I wanted it so bad and I was so young. So if this was her dream, I definitely would support her.

What are some of the things you like now that she’s a little older?

It’s a lot easier to bring her to events. I brought her to a Justin Bieber concert yesterday. Before three, and even at three, it’s a big deal. But I brought her to her first concert. So that was a really big deal for us, and she had a great time.

The Voice is going back to “normal” next season with Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera returning. How was last season for you? Did it feel different?

It was fantastic. Honestly, I loved that season. The biggest difference for me was that I just felt a little more comfortable in my place. I feel it was very fitting, Usher’s fanbase, and Shakira. It was really a natural fit for me. On top of that I was feeling like the senior, not the freshman anymore. Like, “I’ve been here. ‘Welcome to our school!’”

So next season’s the college years?

Exactly. Now we’re all back together in college.

What does it mean to have Christina and Cee Lo back?

Their fans are going to be extremely excited. Cee Lo is so eccentric, so I can’t wait to see what kind of artist he’s going to attract. As well as Christina. She has a very core fanbase, people with really big voices, so it attracts those kind of people to audition for the show. I’m interested to see, because we’ve been so successful, what kind of artists are going to come next season because they were really good this season.

And what point do you get invested?

Through the many interviews and the behind-the-scenes time I have with them and our rehearsals, that’s when I have the most vested interest in them. I’m always interested, but I’m more invested because they’ve told me their story and we have those moments that are beyond the flashing lights when it’s live and they’re nerves are going. They can just chill out and have fun. They always say, “My favorite part is interviewing with you.” I’m like, “Aww, thanks guys.”
