Teamwork makes for dreamwork. At least, that’s what Usher tells his contestants on The Voice. And after a tough couple of weeks dealing with his son’s traumatic pool accident and his ex-wife’s emergency custody hearing, the R&B singer is ready to thank everyone for supporting him.
“Thank U #TeamUsher for the love&support. Can’t do it without you,” Usher Instagrammed with a picture of him playing Connect 4 with his son, Usher Raymond V.
The 5-year-old currently has an arm cast, but seems to be in good spirits following his accident. Last week the tot nearly drowned when his arm got stuck in the drain of the pool at Usher’s house. Fortunately, two workers were able to free the boy and administer CPR.
Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster called for an emergency custody hearing in light of recent events, but was shot down by the judge. The former couple’s retrial is set for August 27, but for now Ush seems to be simply enjoying time with his kids.
Do you think Usher should keep primary custody of his two sons or was this accident a tell-tale sign of an absent parent? Tell us your thoughts below!
