Nothing excites us about fall TV more than getting to see Christina Aguilera and her new trim physique liven up The Voice stage. And the blonde bombshell is more than ready to retake her big red throne.

On September 18, the “Beautiful” singer appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno to talk about her new spread in Maxim, her humanitarian efforts, and her triumphant return to the hit NBC show.

Walking out in a sexy little black dress, it was clear that Xtina was back and better than ever, embracing her slim figure.

“I’m 32 and I feel sexier than ever,” she told Jay. “You know what you want. It was all about appreciating the woman I’ve become.”

But Christina didn’t just spend time getting in shape during her hiatus from The Voice. The singer also spent time with her 5-year-old son, Max, whom she calls the “joy of [her] life,” and moved into a new, private home in Beverly Hills.

“I just found out that Shakira’s my neighbor,” she said of her fellow Voice coach. “I’m going to go pick a fruit basket and knock on her door. We haven’t actually formally met so far. Yeah, I’m gonna knock on her door and say hi.”

Sigh, to be at that housewarming party.

Christina also talked about her relief efforts in Rwanda, traveling to the war torn country to provide food for hungry women and children.

“I think being in this business, I’ve been in front of the camera in one way or another since I was seven, you just need to step out of this box, just to sort of experience life outside of the big red chair,” she said.

While in the African country, the pop star got her hands dirty, feeding those less fortunate and even singing and dancing with the school children in the villages she visited.

And after a long and rewarding time away from The Voice, Christina is ready to return to her old stomping grounds for another go at the top prize. That is, if she can get past Blake Shelton’s three wins.

“He had these Voice trophies made with the peace sign,” she said laughing. “He’s a little boastful, but I like it.”
