In support of her debut album, Frame by Frame, The Voice’s Cassadee Pope is being featured in a six-part CMT docu-series by the same name. On tonight’s all-new episode, he-of-the-irresistible-dimples Blake Shelton visits Cassadee in her trailer as she prepares to perform on the stage that has helped launch her country career.

“It’s terrifying but I can’t wait,” the country singer said of her appearance on the hit NBC reality show. “That stage definitely does something to me now that I’ve never felt before. I'm not even a contestant anymore and I still feel the pressure and the stress and the nerves.”

Perhaps father-figure Blake was there to assuage her fears. The newly-turned country artist was on Team Blake when she was on the show, and even recently mentioned her desire to see Blake and wife Miranda Lambert make little Sheltons.

"Blake would be a great dad," Cassadee tells Life & Style. "I think he'd make sure his priorities were in line as far as being a dad, his career and having fun. That little guy or girl would be very tough — especially with Blake and Miranda as parents."

Many have been wondering whether Cassadee with be the one to break the curse of The Voice not having turned out any real stars as of yet. As for the album, Country Weekly says it shows promise, but it’s not necessarily a sure thing.

“First, a word of caution for fans wanting to hear some twang: This one probably isn’t for you. That said, Cassadee is a tremendous vocalist and Frame by Frame wisely sticks to narratives that dig deeper into her life, frequently in not-so-flattering ways,” writes CW’s Jon Freeman.

As for the docu-series, it may not have the desired effect, as the LA Times Pop & Hiss blog warns that it’s a “tedious” look at Pope’s new career without really letting viewers get to know her.
