Cole Vosbury Sings “Let Her Go” by Passenger and Jonny Gray Sings “We Can Work It Out” by The Beatles
October 28, Team Cee Lo Green soul singers Cole Vosbury and Jonny Gray were paired to sing against one another on The Voice 2013 knockout rounds. Bluesy soul singer Cole took the stage first with his rendition of “Let Her Go” by Passenger. The singer chose the song because he thought it would be good to place his take on the not-so-well known song.
Following close behind, Jonny came to the stage with the popular Beatles hit “We Can Work It Out.” Coach Adam Levine thought that both singers did an amazing job and remarked that he was going to steal whichever artist doesn’t make it through the live rounds.
Blake Shelton thought that Jonny did an amazing job, but that Cole had control over his song. Christina loved both men, but enjoyed Jonny’s stage presence. When Cee Lo chose Jonny over Cole, Adam kept his word and came in with a steal, but that was not all. Blake also tried to steal the artist, stating that he likes what he sees, and hears.
It was a tough choice for Cole, but he chose Blake as his new coach.
