If you’ve been watching this season of The Voice, you know that sitcom star Kaley Cuoco has been nothing if not a dedicated sister and fan of contestant Briana Cuoco, and hell hath no fury like a sibling scorned. After Briana lost to Shelbie Z. in last night’s knockout round, The Big Bang Theory star hopped on Twitter to let coach Blake Shelton know she wasn’t happy with his decision.
The first tweet read:
“Bad move @blakeshelton !!!! #TheVoice nonononono @bricuoco killed it and couldn't have looked any hotter. #futurestar #movinonup.”
Apparently, the more famous sibling wasn’t able to fully express her displeasure in under 140 characters, as she tweeted the following sentiment only three minutes later:
“@blakeshelton said Shelby "out sang" @bricuoco . He picked the country artist! Shockinnnggggggg.”
We totally agree with the part about how Briana “couldn’t have looked any hotter,” but we’re not quite sure about the fact that Blake went with Shelbie simply because she was a country artist. As he said, she “flat-out out-sings” Briana, and we tend to agree — at least in last night’s performance. While the energy on stage felt lacking during Briana’s performance, Shelby energized the crowd and the judges with her supercharged rendition of Carrie Underwood’s “Last Name”.
Do you agree with Kaley? Did Blake only choose Shelbie because she’s a country singer? Let us know your thoughts!
