On November 4, Team Blake Shelton soul singer Ray Boudreaux gave a rousing performance of “Home” by Marc Broussard. Ray went back to his roots with the song, as Marc Broussard is from the same town in Louisiana. Having grown up on the swamp pop genre, Ray felt that it was only fitting to bring it to the Voice stage.

Ray, as usual, brought his soulful bluesy sound to the performance.

Christina Aguilera loved Ray's performance and felt it was the most connected he had ever been to a song. She adored his realness and bluesy vibe. Cee Lo Green thought Ray did a great job, loved seeing his grit and realness and how it translated to everyone. He also commended Ray for singing under the pressure of being live.

Adam Levine was happy and excited that Ray did a Marc Broussard song (as Adam is friends with the souther singer) and thought it was excellent while Blake told Ray that he was in a great position to bring attention to the Delta swamp pop music scene and knew for a fact that he put all his heart into his performance.
