The Voice coach Cee Lo Green has had a pretty rough go of it these days, and we’re not just talking about the fact that he has no one left to compete on his team. He’s also run into some legal troubles, having been accused of giving a woman ecstasy last year.

However, the singer spoke with TMZ cameramen today to let fans know he’s nearly out of the woods. When asked how his court case is going, Cee Lo cheerfully responded,”It’s becoming more and more favorable every day, man.”

While he did allude to the prosecution “stretching it out,” the “Crazy” singer doesn’t seem to be sweating it, optimistically declaring, “The darkest part of it is over now.”

Cee Lo had previously faced a sexual assault charge as well in the same case, but the district attorney dropped the charge due to lack of evidence. Sounds like Cee Lo feels pretty confident he’ll beat the drug charge as well, and looks forward to being able to focus on his career.

“We still out here reppin’! It’s all good!” he said before going on his way — probably to the studio to get ready for tonight’s live elimination show!
