Danielle Bradbery, the Season 4 winner of The Voice, returned to the stage to perform during the final elimination before December 17’s live  finale. And what a triumphant return it was. Danielle delivered a stellar performance of her new single, “Never Like This”, and reminded us why she took home the title last season.

If anyone ever had a doubt about Blake Shelton’s coaching abilities, we suggest you have a listen. Though he may not have a contender in this season’s finale, let’s not forget the man has plenty of wins under his belt. In fact, the last three winners have been Blake’s protege’s: Danielle, Season 3’s Cassadee Pope (who also performed her new single), and Season 2’s Jermaine Paul.

Though Cassadee has certainly had some success, receiving a plaque last night from Blake and Carson for her first ever gold single, mark our words — Danielle’s success will soon exceed hers if she keeps up with singles and live performances like that. The song has the makings of a chart-topper and she’s grown into herself quite a bit since she first appeared on The Voice stage, looking tonight like someone who’s already had a dozen gold records and a One Direction boyfriend.

What did you think of Danielle’s performance?
