After most of the performance shows during season 5 of The Voice, we have been torn in making our predictions as to who would be going home and who would live to see another day. This week, however, the writing is on the wall, and it looks as though Adam Levine’s team will no longer remain unscathed.

If you look at the iTunes chart as well as our poll after last night’s performances, it looks like James Wolpert will be coming to the end of his Voice journey. We had called that already, however, as everyone else who had received the Instant Twitter Save has gone home the following week. And it looks like James will be no exception as, at #15 on the iTunes chart, he is farther below all the other contestants. He also only garnered 8% of your votes in our poll.

But James isn’t the only artist who looks to be on his way out. Hold on to your (cowboys) hats, because it also looks like Blake Shelton’s impressive winning streak will finally come to an end. His only remaining singer, Cole Vosbury, is almost certainly going home tonight. At #12 on iTunes and with only 7% of your votes in our poll, the numbers don’t bode well for the bearded singer known for his acoustic abilities. As we also mentioned, he has fewer Twitter followers than the remaining hopefuls, and social media is a powerful tool on these reality shows, even if the Twitter Instant Save is no longer a factor.

Tessanne Chin ran away with the evening, once again, with her extremely emotional rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water”. She not only got a whopping 60% of your votes in our poll but she also nabbed the highly coveted #1 spot on iTunes (a first for any contestant this season). It looks like our prediction that the Jamaican reggae singer will win it all might come to fruition.

Team Christina’s Jacquie Lee and Team Adam’s Will Champlin were very on par with one another last night. Jacquie secured the #6 spot on iTunes with her performance of “Angel,” while Will sits at #10 after taking on “Carry On” by fun. Jacquie earned 13% of the votes in our poll while Will got 12%.

While there’s no denying that Cole and James are talented singers, tonight’s show will likely mark the end of their reality show runs (but hopefully the beginning of long and fruitful musical careers).

What do you think of our prediction? Who do you think will be going home? Sound off in the comments!
