Now that his three-time winning streak has officially ended on The Voice, the undeniably cocky Blake Shelton has time to reflect on who he thinks will win Season 5 –– but he doesn’t think the answer is as clear-cut as it has been in other seasons.

“I don't know if we've ever seen competition this tough on this show,” Blake said during an interview on the Today Show. “Normally at this point I think you see somebody [...] that really becomes an obvious person that's going to win the thing. This year, that hasn't been the case. It's like week to week.”

Anyone who was a Matthew Schuler fan knows this to be true — he was at the top of his game after singing “Hallelujah” and yet was voted off the show a few short weeks later.

Blake did take a stab at a prediction, though, and we don’t want to brag, but it’s been our prediction all along. The country singer thinks that super talented reggae fusion artist Tessanne Chin will be The Voice victor when all is said and done.

“And if you go by this week's performance, everything points to Tessanne right now, so that wouldn't surprise me to see [her win],” Blake said.

Her rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” was likely the best performance this season, and even shot her to #1 on iTunes –– the first time that has happened this season. But is it enough to snag her the win? Let us know what you think in the comments!
