The Voice coach Christina Aguilera may have slightly dissed rival coach Blake Shelton earlier in the season, but she’s not pouring salt in his wounds now that his three-time winning streak was ended with the departure of Cole Vosbury.

"He's a little boastful this season," Xtina said about Blake in an interview a few months back on Today. "And he's a little lazy this season."

When push came to shove (as in shoving Blake out the door), though, she says she feels a little melancholy over the be-dimpled coach’s loss.

"I really wasn't invested in that whole derail," the pop diva said while talking to reporters backstage after the show. She added, “Adam [Levine], I know, is going to pop champagne over that tonight, but you know, I kind of felt bad. You know, I don't feel good when anybody goes home. It's not about that."

Not only has Christina’s looks matured this season, but it appears her overall attitude has undergone a transformation. She’s more focused on her remaining contestant — Jacquie Lee — than on taking potshots at Blake. But, just in case any of the other coaches thought she might be going soft based on these comments, she assured reporters she’s going for broke.

"At this point, yeah, you've got to go big or go home, basically. I mean, yes, at this point, you have to bring dynamics and go blow for blow. You know — bring it, now more than ever," Xtina said. “It's about big vocals, big songs, but it's also about staying true to what she does the best, which is — and what she did with 'Angel' — is remembering her heart and being genuine."

The “Say Something” singer certainly bursts with pride when talking about the lone singer on her team, assuring the viewers they are partaking in something magical when watching Jacquie, who is the youngest contestant in the show’s history.

"And the fact that she's 16 and able to be so real and sincere, not only with her voice, though. Last night she proved she could do it with her heart and what she embodies from my coaching in mind. She's very smart. This is a star in the making right now. You're seeing it blossom before your eyes!" Christina gushed of the Colts Neck, New Jersey, native.
