The Voice season 5 results are (basically) in, and Tessanne Chin is the likely winner. However, we were a bit surprised that it wasn’t the runaway we thought. After the show, we thought it would be a bit anticlimactic, since her performances earned such rave reviews across the board.

However, when we took a look at our poll of who you thought the winner of The Voice would be, she had earned 58% of your votes. Jacquie Lee wasn’t all that far behind with 32%, while Will Champlin earned a mere 10% of your votes. It’s a fairly commanding lead for Tessanne but perhaps not the domination we expected.

iTunes also points to Tessanne earning the crown. Her performance of Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” earned her the #1 spot on the charts for the second week in a row. To do that with a Whitney number is beyond impressive, since most people don’t take kindly to covers of the late legend’s songs. Tessanne also landed at #3 on iTunes with her duet of “Let It Be” with coach Adam Levine.

Will gave a rousing rendition of “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” that earned high praise from Blake Shelton. "That might have been a good play, because it was solid all the way through, and you didn't have to glitter it up,” the coach, who has had no skin in the game since losing Cole Vosbury last week, said. That song shot him to the #8 spot on iTunes, but it’s certainly not enough to earn him the win. His duet of “Tiny Dancer” with Adam also landed him at #10 on the iTunes chart.

While Jacquie did well in our polls, her iTunes chart positions weren’t overly impressive. Her performance of “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” nabbed her the #9 spot, but her duet of “We Remain” with coach Christina Aguilera, which suffered from some pitch problems, was fairly far down the chart at #20. Her blind audition revisited “Back to Black,” earning her the #28 spot on iTunes.

While we don’t have any spoilers, per se, we’d say the results of The Voice 2013 are all but set in stone, and Jamaican reggae fusion artist Tessanne Chin will most certainly be crowned the winner on tonight’s two-hour finale episode.
