A Rihanna duet never fails so it’s not surprising that The Voice coach Shakira is thrilled to announce the date their collaboration, "Can't Remember to Forget You", drops. Shakira took to Twitter today to make the announcement, tweeting, “You guys ready? Jan 13 is almost here! ¿Están listos? El 13 de Enero se acerca / @Rihanna #rememberforget Shak.” Unfortunately, the twitpic doesn’t feature the two performing together but — with two directors’ chairs with their names on them — you get the idea.

Rihanna’s duet of “Stay” with Mikky Ekko was hauntingly beautiful. And who could forget the unlikely pairing of Rihanna and Eminem for their mega-hit songs “Love The Way You Lie” and  “The Monster”? The pop diva also sounded amazing with rap star Nicki Minaj in their collaboration for “Fly”. But we’re positively giddy over the news of her duet with Shakira.

Rihanna’s soulful voice paired with Shakira’s Latin vibe is sure to spark some serious interest among their many fans. As one of Shakira’s followers tweeted, “two legendary artist will perform together.. Omg!”

To boot, both of these girls are insanely gorgeous, so the video will undoubtedly feature some serious eye candy. Perhaps The Voice fans can look forward to a performance of the song during the spring season, when Shakira returns to her swivel chair, along with fan favorite Usher. By the way, if you haven’t seen the promo for Season 6 yet, you should definitely give it a look-see. It’s gonna be good!
