All eyes seem to be on Shakira right now. With a single with music it-girl Rihanna dropping, a reuptake of her swivel chair on Season 6 of The Voice, and the cover of this month’s Glamour magazine, the gorgeous Latin singer is hot, hot, hot. But she admits in her interview with Glamour that, much like everyone else, she occasionally doubts herself, especially when going up against the likes of People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive Adam Levine.

“Dealing with boys at work and being the only girl can be challenging. I have my insecurities, but I’ve learned I have to be a good sport,” Shakira says. “I have to be able to take certain jokes and not take them personally. There are jokes made almost every second of the day. “I had to develop a tough hide. You know, the music industry is dominated by guys. I work with men 98 percent of the time — producers, arrangers, musicians, engineers.”

Interestingly enough, fellow Voice coach Christina Aguilera said something similar during an interview with Jay Leno.

“It’s tough being a woman in a man’s environment. On my show, I know what that’s like,” she said after a performance on The Tonight Show.

The two also have similar thoughts on working out and staying thin, putting their kids before the pursuit of the perfect body.

As Shakira said in the Glamour spread, “I already have a lot to worry about. This month I'm not exercising because I have an album to finish and I have a baby. And I like these pastries in front of me."

Xtina told Redbook magazine in their November issue last year, “If I have to choose between working out and spending time with my son after a hard day, it’s not even a question.”
