The long wait is over! Okay, so it wasn’t exactly a long wait at all. Two months after the Season 5 finale, which saw Jamaican singer Tessanne Chin take home the win, The Voice is back for another turn of the swivel chairs as the Season 6 Blind Auditions commence.

Tonight’s new episode also marks the return of Season 4 coaches Shakira and Usher, who stepped in for Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green, respectively, during the 2013 winter run. Cee Lo recently announced that he would not be returning for a Season 7, so could it be that either Usher or Shakira will fill his shoes on a more permanent basis?

While the future of The Voice’s coaches is in flux, there is one thing we can count on this season: amazing talent. According to a first look at what to expect from the Blind Auditions, we have lots of four-chair turns to look forward to. Shakira says they have 11, the most in the show’s history. That means we’ll also get to enjoy probably our favorite thing about The Voice: watching Adam Levine and Blake Shelton fight to the death to get the most talented singers on their team.
