Slow and steady wins the race! Though Shakira’s team may have filled up a little slower than the other coaches, that doesn’t mean she’s in a bad position. Here are her 12 contestants.

Silly Blake Shelton didn’t turn around for this New England country singer, but his loss is Shak’s incredible gain. The Colombian singer even promised to get some help from Blake’s wife, Miranda Lambert, to help Kristen Merlin along on her journey.

Jeremy Briggs, 26 — Sacramento, California

Singing the classic hit “Bad Company”, Jeremy Briggs appealed to Shakira’s “rock chick roots” immediately. After promising that her hunger for success would help him to the top, the California classic rock enthusiast joined Team Shak, despite his and Blake’s shared affinity for plaid shirts.

Deja Hall, 16 — San Antonio, Texas

Deja Hall is a fighter who has survived losing a kidney as a child to become a star athlete and an incredible vocalist. Charmed by Shakira’s excitement over her talent, the competitive young dynamo turned down a chance to be on Team Usher and Team Blake for the girl power of Team Shak.

DeShawn Washington, 23 — Natchitoches, Louisiana

Shak was the only one to turn for R&B singer DeShawn Washington, but we always knew she was way smarter than those dumb boys. Their loss is her gain!

Clarissa Serna, 27 — Corpus Christi, Texas

With a haunting and unique rock vocal style, Clarissa Serna and Shakira should be a perfect match!

Lindsay Pagano, 28 — Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

We haven't gotten to know Lindsay Pagano very well yet, but Shakira must have liked what she heard!

Dani Moz, 26 — Los Angeles, California

Shakira is also the only coach to turn for Dani Moz called her performance "confident" and "strong" — just like Shak!

Music Box, 28 — Seattle, Washington

Well, with a name Music Box, we guess she chose the right career! Shak alone turned for the Seattle singer.

Emily B., 33 — America Falls, Idaho

Garnering a three-chair turn with her soulful rendition of "Wicked Game", Emily B chose the coach who first saw her potential.

Cierra Mickens, 23 — Eagle River, Alaska

Singing Cee Lo Green's hit song "Crazy", Cierra Mickens was definitely made for The Voice, though we think her dad would probably rather see her stick to the law!

Ddendyl, 25 — Washington, D.C.

Ddendyl's unusual take on "Stand By Me" wasn't every coach's cup of tea, but we think this girl has dark horse potential all over her.

Lindsay Bruce, 25 — Santa Ana, California

Lindsay Bruce had Adam and Shakira fighting tooth and nail over her but, in the end, girl power won, and Shakira completed her team.
