Of all the blind auditions we’ve seen on The Voice this season thus far, we’d have to say Christina Grimmie’s had the biggest impact on the judges.

“It’s gonna get bloody, and we’re gonna fight,” Adam Levine said after all four coaches swiveled. This despite Christina choosing the very popular “Wrecking Ball” as her audition song. But that clearly didn't matter as her powerful rendition had the coaches mesmerized.

Shakira tried to dis Adam by saying he hasn’t had a day off and is tired. Instead, Shakira said Christina should choose her as she is as “rested and focused as a laser.”

Usher said she was “phenomenal” and told her he would help her “unlock the potential that is there,” and Blake Shelton put in the final bid for her to be on his team, saying, “It’s about you and what you wanna do. I just want to help you figure out whatever that is, and make you the winner of the show.”

Christina gave the judges serious pause before making her choice, revealing that her mother has had breast cancer three times. “I love my mom and I’m happy I got to do this for her,” she said as her emotional mama watched backstage.

In the end, Christina went with Adam, but what else do we know about this talented, young woman?

Unlike some of these folks who have little to no professional singing in their backgrounds, Christina is already well-vetted in the ways of the music industry.

In fact, according to the bio on her website, the 19-year-old New Jersey native has opened for Selena Gomez, both for her We Own the Night Tour in 2011 and her more recent Stars Dance World Tour.

Christina got her start on YouTube, posting covers of popular numbers like “Titanium” and “Stay.” Soon after, she had a faithful following of fans. In fact, she has more than 2 million subscribers with more than 350 million video views, as of publishing.

Beside all this, Christina was a 2011 American Music Award New Media Honoree for Best Female, and that same year performed with Taio Cruz for an AMA pre-show. She also hosted a behind-the-scenes segment for the American Idol tour in 2012 for 19 Entertainment’s YouTube channel, along with an eight-episode web series for Disney Games titled Power Up With Christina Grimmie.

Although it might sound like these accomplishments leave little time for play, Christina says she takes time to enjoy soccer and video games when not performing.

This is already a super stellar background for any artist, but we have to wonder if the coaches will find her hard to mentor for this very reason.

What do you think of Christina and her many accomplishments? Sound off in the comments!
