On March 3, singer Sisaundra Lewis took The Voice stage to belt out “Ain’t No Way” by Aretha Franklin. The 44-year-old soul singer gave up her career working with living legend Celine Dion in order to have a family, but decided that she would go back to her passion of singing.

Within a few seconds, coach Shakira pushed her button for the Florida native, followed by Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. At the very last second (which seems to be his “thing”), Usher pushed his button for the former orange picker.

Blake went in first, telling Sisaundra that he would buy her album if it came out tomorrow. Next up, Adam told Sisaundra that he loved her performance, but that she didn’t give her best and he would be the coach to help her do that. Usher told Sisaundra that there was definitely room for growth, while Shakira promised that she would take her to the top.

When it was time to finally make a decision, Sisaundra went with the coach she thought she had the best connection with, which was Blake.
