Team Usher delivered such stellar performances Tuesday night, it’s hard to imagine how the charismatic coach made his decision. Do they have a house psychic on staff for situations like that? Regardless of how he arrived at his final three, Usher was only able to take three of his five artists with him into next week’s Live Rounds.

Though every artist brought their A game, we had no doubt that Bria Kelly would advance. Sure, she struggled in the second Battle Round, but aside from that stumble she’s been the frontrunner since the Blind Auditions, and every coach wishes she was on their team.

The second artist moving forward to the Live Rounds is Josh Kaufman, the 33-year-old father with a soulful, silky voice. With his final choice down to Melissa JimenezStevie Jo, and TJ Wilkins, Usher struggled but ultimately thought T.J. was the best artist to complete his team. “My team represents the soul of The Voice,” Usher remarked of his artists.

Watch out, Adam and Blake — Usher is coming for you! With a team that can sing classic R&B, rock, and blues, Usher may just make good on his determined promise to make this season his bitch.
