Sisaundra Lewis Sings “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” by Elton John

On April 21, Team Blake Shelton powerhouse singer Sisaundra Lewis gave a rousing performance of “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” by Elton John. Blake gave the song to Sisaundra because he felt it would allow her to relax a little bit from her regular powerful sound, while showcase her beautiful finesse.

Usher asked if it got any better than that, because he felt that Sisaundra continually blew them away. He told Sisaundra that there was only one other woman he thought could do what she does, and that would be legendary singer Patti LaBelle.

Adam Levine was impressed by Sisaundra’s restraint and was able to finally see a controlled, seasoned veteran songstress. Blake thought that Sisaundra showed her massive skills by knowing when to reign in her voice, and when to let it all out. He told Sisaundra to embrace everything that she would learned because it would ultimately make her a star.
