The Voice 2014 Season 6 Top 12 took the stage for the first time last night to sing live for America’s votes. With the pressure on, each vocalist did their absolute best to wow the audience with their impeccable range, stunning versatility, and amazing talent. And while all of the artists did a stellar job, we’ve picked out the one singer that really stood out in our eyes.

Team Adam Levine singer Delvin Choice did an incredible job with the 1965 hit song, “Unchained Melody” by the Righteous brothers, while teammate Kat Perkins slayed her rendition of ‘80s band Heart’s “Magic Man.” Team Usher’s T.J. Wilkins brought his usually charming sound to his spin on John Mayer’s “Waiting on the World to Change,” and Team Blake Shelton’s Sisaundra Lewis showcased her impressive skill with Elton John’s “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.”

And while Team Shakira's Kristen Merlin got four standing ovations for powering through the technical mishap of her endearing cover of Sugarland’s “Stay,” we thought the performance of the night had to go to Team Usher’s Josh Kaufman. We don’t know about you, but we were blown away by the Indianapolis dad’s cover of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.”

Between Josh’s vocals on the retro contemporary sound, his visible confidence boost, and rain backdrop, we were completely mesmerized and ready to cast our vote for him.
