The Top 5 contestants on The Voice had two chances to impress America enough to land themselves in the Season 6 finale, and each vocalists (and their coaches) pulled out all the stops. While all the singers definitely wowed us, there were only a few performances that stood out.

Team Usher’s last man standing, Josh Kaufman, gave an electric performance with his rendition of OneRepublic’s “Love Runs Out,” as well as a beautiful rendition of John Legend’s current hit, “All of Me.”

Team Adam’s Kat Perkins and Christina Grimmie were given curveballs by their coach, which they were able to handle. However, the ladies were at their strongest with their own unusual picks; Christina showed off her creativity with “Some Nights” by fun. and Kat got her pop on with the smash Frozen hit, “Let It Go.”

And while Team Blake’s lone ranger Jake Worthington definitely brought the charm he normally does with his rendition of Waylon Jennings’ “Good Ol’ Boys,” as well as his country take on Bryan Adams’ ‘80s hit, “Heaven,” it was Team Shakira’s Kristen Merlin who finally amazed us last night.

Bringing her usual fiery attitude to Miranda Lambert’s “Gunpowder & Lead” was pretty sweet, but it wasn’t until we heard Kristen sing Jewel’s “Foolish Games” that the hairs on the back of our necks stood up. We thought it was quite possibly Kristen’s best performance thus far, and one that was sure to gain her enough votes to make it to the finale.
